BDP Manager should be connected in the local community and experienced in the world of business. BDP Manager often operates as a right hand to the Director and Country Manager to ensure profitability and synergy of HubHub.

The Business Development & Partnerships Manager will support the Country Manager to achieve the following:

1. Create and manage sales pipeline and build relationships with existing tenants.

2. Establish relationships with other stakeholders in entrepreneurial ecosystem and create value through connecting them with tenants, other corporations or other partners.

3. Work with team members to ensure the correct mix of companies are in the network of HubHub

  • Find members with the best potential (growth, community impact)

  • Act as an Account Manager for existing tenants, seek opportunities to upsell

About the Role

This part-time position will report directly to the FTRNW Tuesdays Manager and will allow for the individual to be a part of the most innovative event platform in the country. The role will allow for the individual to execute event strategies in order to build a strong community around FTRNW Tuesdays.

Event Production Specialist will have the opportunity to execute production and operations of FTRNW Tuesdays in cooperation with FTRNW Tuesdays Manager and Marketing Specialist.

You will help build awareness about FTRNW in the community through attending events, networking and actively participating in all FTRNW formats.

You will actively promote FTRNW activities on social media, to help brand grow and to help broaden your and team network.

 

Salary: 750 Eur/brutto

Responsibilities

  • Managing & executing the event strategy of FTRNW Tuesdays with particular focus on event production and event operations
  • Understanding the vision, mission, activities and audiences of FTRNW in order to create valuable and attractive offerings to all partners and donors of FTRNW Tuesdays
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with all relevant content and network partners and subcontractors
  • Presence at all FTRNW Tuesdays events, leading and actively executing the setup and cleanup for the events, and ensuring that the events run smoothly in terms of logistics and tech setup.
  • Handling all logistical communication with speakers and partners, before, during and after the event (if needed). This includes ensuring that space and tech requirements match the event program and providing information about logistics and parking to speakers and partners.
  • Coordinate with Marketing Specialist on all onsite visuals (screens, posters, spatial elements) to ensure their smooth delivery.
  • Coordinate event production budget for FTRNW Tuesdays.
  • Cooperate with HubHub event managers regarding Calendar coordination, event space setup requirements and communicate all potential technical issues with them.
  • Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with Facility management, receptionist, security service and Mondieu staff, as well as speakers and partners participating at FTRNW Tuesdays.
  • Assuring that event operations and production is delivered on time (space and technical set-up)

Purpose of the role

About the role
We are looking for a talented and passionate Junior Events Manager. This full-time position will report directly to the Country Manager and Senior Events manager and will allow for the individual to be a part of the most innovative space in the country. The role will allow for the individual to help execute event strategy; plan, coordinate and execute events and budgets to create and maintain a strong community. HubHub allows for the individual to get to know the local startup and corporate ecosystem, create a lifelong network and work with a team of young professionals with passion for entrepreneurship and collaboration.

The Junior Events Manager will support the Events Manager to achieve the following:

  • Working with Events Manager to create, run, and analyze community events, events on key and events with partners
  • Helping to organize workshops & events for HubHub community
  • Managing individual components to ensure the event goes smoothly
  • Understanding the audiences to create valuable events to promote and maintain strong community

 

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with Events Manager to understand and support the event strategy
  • Responsible for all operations aspects of the event (setting up equipment needed for an event, arranging catering, logistics, etc.…)
  • Provide on-site support at events
  • Communicate with 3rd parties and vendors
  • Ensure members have smooth experience and the space is kept at high standards and operated well during events
  • Build and leverage strong, lasting relationships within the community and with external members
  • Analyze event performance and feedbacks
  • Conduct various administrative tasks as appropriate/necessary

Requirements

Experience
  • Prior experience in Events is a big plus
Languages
  • Proficiency in English language is a must
