Meet Our Members – reFIT
Wellbeing is a key part of how workspaces attract and support their people. In this edition of our Meet Our Members series, we caught up with reFIT, the team behind innovative wellness spaces that transform underused areas into gyms, studios and recovery zones. Their work focuses on making health and movement easier to access during the working day, helping buildings become places where people can recharge as well as work.
Elevator pitch time! Can you tell us about your company and what you?
reFIT designs, installs and operates wellness amenities in buildings, helping landlords and workplaces turn underutilised space into high-impact health and wellbeing destinations.
We create autonomous, tailor-made wellness solutions that fit the building, the brand and occupier demand, from gyms and studios to recovery and performance spaces. We also act as an expert operator for existing amenities, stepping in to ensure everything is compliant, safe, properly maintained and genuinely well-used. Ultimately, we help transform spaces into a hub of health, vitality and community, meeting the needs of today’s occupiers and supporting long-term tenant satisfaction.
How does your business make a positive impact-whether that’s in your industry, the community or even just making Mondays more bearable?
By bringing high-quality wellness amenities directly into buildings, we remove the barriers that stop people from looking after themselves. That might be lack of time, inconvenience, cost, or simply not knowing where to start. Instead, people can work out, reset, recover or recharge right where they already are.
Our spaces give people a genuine reason to come into the office, not just to sit at a desk, but to feel part of something. Whether it’s a genuine endorphin-boosting workout, a cold plunge reset, a stretch session between meetings, or simply moving more throughout the day, our amenities create healthier routines and better days at work.
The result is stronger community, improved wellbeing, and a workplace experience that feels more energising, social and sustainable.
What’s a project, achievement or milestone that makes you and your team extra proud?
One milestone we’re especially proud of is the growth of our footprint on Wood Street. We will soon be operating three locations on the same street: 100 Wood Street, 88 Wood Street, and MODE.
Each site is completely different, which really shows what reFIT does best. We adapt to the building and transform whatever space is available into something genuinely exciting and valuable. Across these projects we’ve delivered everything from top-of-the-range gyms and multipurpose studios, to golf simulators and flexible wellness spaces, turning previously underused areas into active, enjoyable destinations that people actually want to use. It’s a brilliant example of how wellness can be embedded into the everyday workplace experience, and it’s only the beginning.
What’s next for your company?
We’re focused on scaling what we do best: bringing high-performing wellness spaces into more buildings, and continuing to raise the standard of what workplace wellbeing can look like.
We’ve also just launched our Powered by reFIT initiative, where we step into existing wellness amenities to ensure they meet the correct compliance standards, and to safely operate fitness and wellbeing spaces day-to-day.
We’re excited to take on more ambitious projects, expand into more locations, and keep transforming underutilised spaces into places people genuinely love spending time in.
Is there anything surprising or exciting you’d like the HubHub community to know about your team or work?
One thing people are often surprised by is just how effective a smaller space can be when it’s designed properly.
An example being the HubHub wellness space. It’s packed with smart, versatile stations that can deliver a seriously good workout, whether you’ve got 15 minutes between meetings or want to build a full routine.
Once people start using it, the convenience becomes a game-changer. It’s the kind of space that’s easy to return to, and quickly becomes part of someone’s weekly rhythm.
How can you support fellow HubHubers and how can they support you?
We’d love to support the HubHub community by helping more members make the most of the wellness amenities available to them. That could be through guidance on how to use the space, beginner-friendly routines, or simply encouraging more people to give it a go.
And in return, the best way HubHubers can support us is by using the space, taking part in our Peloton challenge and spreading the word. The more people engage with wellness amenities, the more we can prove their value, and keep improving them, expanding them, and bringing even better experiences into buildings.
