Purpose of the role

HubHub is part of HB Reavis, an international workspace provider creating remarkable experiences through real estate solutions. HubHub is the serviced office side of the business, and we operate across 5 countries in Europe.  We are a young, dynamic company and all of us share the same goal to keep growing and succeed. HubHub London is based at 20 Farringdon Street and operates SQF 32,000 across 4 floors in the building.

We are looking for a talented and passionate Community Manager. This full-time position will report directly to the Team Leader and will work with the “Community Team” to ensure the smooth running of business.  Customer serviced focused and a team player, the Community Manager is a very hands-on role, so we need someone that is practical and not afraid to get their hands dirty!

The maternity cover will be 14 months starting on the 1st of November.

Community Manager will support the Community Team to achieve the following:


  • Creating a collaborative community environment amongst our members through events and building relationships between members
  • Ensuring that coworking space is fully operational and processes are running smoothly
  • Building trust across the organization by being a good listener and working with feedback from members to improve the space and operations


  • Be the first and last point of contact in HubHub space
  • Responsible for onboarding for all new members, constantly reviewing and adjust the process
  • Lead and organize community events for members
  • Assist the events manager with the sales of the event space, including sending quotes and negotiating contracts
  • Conduct viewings of the space for perspective new clients
  • Responsible for keep the Community Matrix up to date
  • Heading up the feedback decisions and making sure that we consistently meet our NPS score targets
  • Solve member related issues to ensure a cohesive community
  • Assist with move ins and move outs; assist with building operations and maintenance to ensure highest level of member experience
  • Ensuring members have smooth experience and that the space is kept at high standards
  • Willing to help the team with various activities and operations needed such as, setting up event space, setting up community events, re-configuring offices etc.
  • Collaborate with other HubHub locations on any cross-country community events.


  • Responsible for overall internal communications, this includes:
  • Designing community events posters, digital signage, creating event signs ups
  • Design any posters, signage needed for the space (eg out of order signs etc)
  • Responsible for drafting and sending newsletter via MailChimp
  • Manage the dashboard section of office rnd, keeping our members updated with HubHub news and events
  • Working with the FIM to manage community boards
  • Provide engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts
  • Create a co-working community with a friendly, collaborative atmosphere where businesses can thrive and cooperate efficiently
  • Assist the FIM and the Facilities Manager in the following:
  • Morning Routine – Deploying fruit/milk, making sure kitchen is stocked
  • Checking all 4 floors throughout the day making sure that the space is tidy, especially the meeting rooms
  • Collecting post from the loading bay
  • Contact contractors for simple repairing
  • Creating cards for new members
  • Greet visitors who come in for tours, check-in members, track walk-ins, schedule tours, and send confirmations
  • Work on community initiatives designed to develop connections between members, including member introductions, event support, email and print communications



  • Customer Service management is essential
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must
  • Proficiency in English is a must
