Purpose of the role

We are looking for a Business Development and Community Manager in one. This full-time position will report directly to the Head of HubHub and will allow for the individual to be a part of the most innovative space in the region. This role is focused on finding the best members and work on building partnerships between tenants, corporation in wider network and potential clients. The role also entails long-term relationships with members, managing the HubHub space and being responsible for the life of the ecosystem. Person for this role should be connected in the local startup community and experienced in the world of business. The role requires for the individual to be incredibly personable and able to think strategically about connecting the resources in the greater community to the needs of the coworking space.   • Create and manage sales pipeline and build relationships with existing members
  • Co-create and manage the space, with all repairs, features and functions
  • Establish relationships with other stakeholders in entrepreneurial ecosystem and create value through connecting them with members, other corporations or other partners
  • Work with international HubHub team to ensure the right mix of members, the right mix of partners and overall processes are in place
  • Ensure community feel of members and partners by collaborating with Event Manager to create value added services and events
  • Find members with the the best potential (growth, community impact)
  • Build and manage sales pipeline
  • Co-create space with all its amenities and its long-term vision
  • Be the escalation point for members in all their needs
  • Be a trusted advisor for existing members, seek opportunities to upsell but also ensure their comfort
  • Develop partnership strategy aligned with the vision of HubHub
  • Conduct market research to find the best partner organisations across different sectors
  • Build and manage and leverage relationships with partners to help members and secure additional funding for the hub (e.g. corporate sponsorships)
  • Create value through connecting stakeholders in the ecosystem (startups, corporations, service providers, etc.)
  • Build awareness about the HubHub in community through attending events and networking Cooperate with the group to enable global connections


  • Prior sales or project management experience is a strong plus
  • Proficiency in Czech and English language is a must
Other Relevant Skills
  • Team player and self-starter with strong interpersonal and solution oriented attitude
  • Strong passion for startups and entrepreneurial communities is a must
  • Ability to balance numerous different priorities and demands on daily basis
  • Ability to define projects and execute within timelines and with multiple stakeholders
  • Creative analytically-minded thinker with strong problem solving and communication skills
  • Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues
