Purpose of the role

We are looking for an Expansion Lead. This full-time position will report directly to the Head of HubHub and will allow for the individual to be a part of the most innovative space in Central Europe. This role is focused on new business development and new market expansion in Western Europe and beyond. Combining entrepreneurial drive with business-management skills to drive fast growth. The role requires for the individual to be incredibly personable and able to think strategically, to get to know the regional startup and corporate ecosystem, create a lifelong network and work with a team of young professionals with passion for entrepreneurship and collaboration. The Expansion Lead will support the Country Manager to achieve the following: • Enable expansion in other countries • Establish relationships with other stakeholders in entrepreneurial ecosystem and create value through connecting them with members, other corporations or other partners

Responsibilities

  • Scout markets in Europe – Germany, UK, France (from people to spaces) Germany, UK, France (from people to spaces)
  • Conduct market research to find the best partner organizations across different sectors
  • Seek opportunities to upsell
  • Develop partnership strategy aligned with the vision of HubHub
  • Build and manage sales pipeline
  • Build and manage and leverage relationships with partners and secure additional funding for HubHub (e.g. corporate sponsorships)
  • Create value through connecting stakeholders in the ecosystem (startups, corporations, service providers, etc.)
  • Build awareness about HubHub in community through attending events and networking
  • Cooperate with the group to enable global connections 

Requirements

Experience
  • Prior sales or project management experience in coworking is a strong plus
  • Team player and self-starter with strong interpersonal and solution oriented attitude
  • Strong passion for startups and entrepreneurial communities is a must
Languages
  • Proficiency in English language is a must

This full-time position will report directly to the Community Manager and will allow for the individual to be a part of the most innovative space in the country. Being part of HubHub will allow for the individual to get to know the local startup and corporate ecosystem, get a free membership in the coolest coworking space and to create a lifelong network. First Impression Manager will support the Community Manager to achieve the following: 
1. Creating a collaborative community environment amongst our members through events and building relationships between members. 2. Ensuring that coworking space is fully operational and processes are running smoothly. 3. Building trust across the organization by being a good listener and working with feedback from members to improve the space and operations

Responsibilities

  • Be the first and last point of contact in HubHub space
  • Greet people who come in for tours, check-in members track walk-ins, schedule tours, and send confirmation
  • Work on community initiatives designed to develop connections between members, including member introductions, event support, email and print communications
  • Conduct building walkthroughs and embrace HubHub spirit
  • Solve member related issues to ensure a cohesive community
  • Assist with move ins and move outs; assist with building operations and maintenance to ensure highest level of member experience
  • Ensuring members have smooth experience and that the space is kept at high standards
  • Mail and Deliveries responsibilities as needed

Requirements

Experience
  • Customer Service and/or sales experience is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must
  • Proficiency in Basic Computer Skills
Languages
  • Proficiency in English and Slovak is a must

The role will allow for the individual to help establish new conference strategy; plan, coordinate and execute conferences and budgets to create and maintain a strong community. HubHub allows for the individual to get to know the local startup and corporate ecosystem, create a lifelong network and work with a team of young professionals with passion for entrepreneurship and collaboration. The Conference Manager will support the Country Manager to achieve the following: 1. Working closely with Event Managers across countries to develop strong programming and integrate long term HubHub strategy. 2. Managing end to end conference strategy from creation of the strategy, to budgeting, operations and execution. 3. Understanding the audiences to create valuable conference to promote and maintain strong community. 4. Establishing relationships with other stakeholders in entrepreneurial ecosystem in Central Europe

Responsibilities

  • Develop conference strategy aligned with the vision of HubHub and its expansion
  • Per strategy, deliver activities program such as conferences, workshops, seminars, exhibitions, etc. for HubHub
  • Seek and secure partners, speakers, sponsors for conferences
  • Deliver and coordinate details of conference on time, within budget, that meet expectations
  • Coordinate conference budgets
  • Plan and coordinate all activities to successfully execute conference
  • Analyze conference performance
  • Develop and maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with our partners and ties in the community
  • Build awareness about HubHub in community through attending events and networking
  • Cooperate with the group to enable global connections

Requirements

Experience
  • Prior experience with conferences and/or events is a must
  • Highly creative, able to formulate a unique vision and flawlessly execute the vision
  • Keen attention to detail along with strong organizational and project management skills
Languages

The Operations Manager will support the Country Manager to achieve the following: 1. Creating and managing operations processes specific to the country’s needs, laws and regulations. 2. Communicating with broader IT, Security, Accounting, Finance, etc. teams to ensure streamlined ongoing space operations. 3. Collaborating with Community Manager and working with community to optimize member experience

Responsibilities

  • Be the main point of contact to Community Manager and community when it comes to: accounting, finance, operations, facility management, etc.
  • Collaborate with the team to continuously improve processes and standards
  • Cooperation between different departments and with 3rd parties to deliver operational excellence
  • Work with members on invoicing/accounting
  • Analyze processes globally with HubHub coworkers
  • Be the escalation for member complaints and issues

Requirements

Experience
  • Experience in either (or all): IT, Accounting, Finance, Facility Management is welcomed
  • Must be a very organized and process oriented individual
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills

  • Create and coordinate a brand strategy and marketing plan
  • Coordinate, create and execute Marketing, PR and Communication activities to ensure brand consistency
  • Set and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
  • Provide engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts
  • Plan community events with Event Manager
  • Attending industry events to boost awareness of our brand
  • Create a co-working community with a friendly, collaborative atmosphere where businesses can thrive and cooperate efficiently

Requirements

Experience
  • Extensive knowledge of online marketing
  • Experience working with WordPress, marketing database, email, social media or outdoor advertising campaigns

The Community Manager will support the Country Manager to achieve the following: 1. Create a welcoming and collaborative community environment among our members. 2. Ensure the space is fully operational and running smoothly. 3. Establish relationships with other stakeholders in entrepreneurial ecosystem and create value through connecting them with members, other corporations or other partners. 4. Work with team members to ensure the correct mix of companies are in the network of HubHub

Responsibilities

  • Be the main point of contact to community when it comes to: space, members and events
  • Work with members and be the escalation point for members complaints, issues, requirements and needs
  • Ensure members have smooth experience and the space is kept at high standards and operated well
  • Create value through connecting stakeholders in the ecosystem (startups, corporations, service providers, etc.)
  • Build and leverage strong, lasting relationships within the community and with external members
  • Manage and create community budget
  • Manage staff responsible for the space
